In Slovenia, the majority of online services in the field of private administration are available at e-uprava.gov.si, which is a website run by the Ministry of Public Administration (“Ministrstvo za javno upravo”).
For tax matters, online services are available at edavki.durs.si, which is a website run by the Financial Administration of the Republic of Slovenia.
Online public services in the field of justice are provided by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia (“Vrhovno sodišče”) and available at evlozisce.sodisce.si (web portal “e-sodstvo”).
These online services can be used by natural and legal persons, usually under the condition of a prior registration.
In Slovenia, it is not possible to lodge an application for legal aid online (it should be sent in paper form to the competent court or lodged in person).

In Slovenia, it is not possible to introduce claims for damages online.
According to the Slovenian Civil Procedure Act (“Zakon o pravdnem postopku”) applications can be submitted for civil proceedings in electronic form. However, despite the legal provisions in place, it is currently not possible to file an action by electronic means in civil and commercial cases, with the exception of proceedings involving the land register, insolvency and enforcement.
Purpose and scope: The electronic service of judicial documents is carried out via the e-Justice (web portal “e-sodstvo”) website, which is administered by the Supreme Court of the Republic of Slovenia, to users’ secure e-mail addresses. The option for electronic service is foreseen by the Civil Procedure Act (Zakon o pravdnem postopku, Art. 141.a). Thus, the electronic service is permitted in civil procedure and other civil judicial proceedings in which the rules of the Civil Procedure Act apply (e.g. commercial disputes, labour and social disputes, land registry procedure, insolvency proceedings and enforcement proceedings).

Conditions of access:
- Eligibility requirements: This service is generally open to users (natural or legal persons) who access the e-Justice system (web portal “e-sodstvo”) and those who have a secure electronic mailbox (in this case the electronic service is performed by a legal or natural person who serves documents via secure electronic means as a registered activity).
- Identification and authentication requirements: Prior registration in the e-Justice system or establishment of a secure electronic mailbox is needed.
- Documents to be provided: N/A
Legal effects of electronic document: Electronic service of judicial documents is equated with physical service.

On 1 February 2021, the sodnedrazbe.si portal was launched, where all current auctions of Slovenian courts are published in one place.
The website publishes sales of all immovable property, movable property and rights (business shares, securities, receivables, etc.) sold in enforcement, insolvency and compulsory winding-up proceedings, as well as in non-contentious civil procedure and criminal and misdemeanour proceedings.
Interested buyers can find the following information in one place (sodnedrazbe.si):
- access free of charge information and photographs of the objects of sale,
- access free of charge information on sales and
- also register for the online auction in enforcement proceedings, where they will auction their chosen sale object.
Online (electronic) sales of immovable property and rights are currently available in enforcement proceedings. However, sales in other procedures will take place as before at the location of each auction with the auctioneers physically present (traditional sales).
Foreign language users can choose between English, German, Italian or Hungarian.
The judicial auction system can be used on personal computers as well as on mobile devices, electronic tablets and other similar devices.

Purpose and scope: In Slovenia, only a sole trader (“samostojni podjetnik – s.p.”) or a single-member limited liability company (“enoosebna d.o.o.”) can be established online – all other types of companies must be established in person.

- Eligibility requirements: This service is available to all natural persons who posses a qualified digital certificate.
- Identification and authentication requirements: Identification is done through a qualified digital certificate.
- Documents to be provided: For a company formation, a founding act should be provided.
Legal effects of electronic document: A company (a sole trader or a single-member limited liability company) can be successfully established online.

For public documents listed in the Regulation (EU) 2016/1191 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 6 July 2016, citizens can ask for a multilingual standard form when asking for the document. This can also be requested online.
